Andre Ward hails from Oakland California and fights as a super middle weight.

He was the only American to win a gold medal in his class in the summer 2004 Olympics in Athens.

No American has won a Gold for boxing since.

He is currently undefeated and continues to show significant potential.

As of 7/22/10 – Andre is rated 2nd in the USA and 4th in the world in the super middleweight division. He is among the youngest of the top 25 fighters in the global rankings.
