Returning after 7-month absence
Andre Ward returned to the ring after a 7-month absence and after 6 rounds defeated his opponent Derrick Findley to go 10-0 in his professional career. Ward had torn a thumb ligament in his previous fight which is why he was out of the ring so long.
Ward’s promoter Dan Goosen has indicated that Andre Ward may return to the ring in January of 2007. We hope its in Ward’s hometown of Oakland!
